There’s something that I’ve learned within the past year, that is still something I’m slowly learning to accept.

I’ve realized that time is not going to slow down. There can be 100 things coming at you at all times, and you have to learn how to balance it. It’s up to you.

I started feeling overwhelmed senior year of high school. Having my classes, homework, social life, senior year school events, college acceptances, preparation for college, and eventually a job. All of these things were going on at once and it was a lot to handle. I felt like I was drowning, this was the first time I’ve ever felt like that.

I kept telling my friends “I wish time could just stop for two seconds so I could breathe”

Well, that wish isn’t going to come true no matter how many times I wish at 11:11 or at that viral shooting star post on Tumblr.

I was excited for summer break, so I could finally get a break from all of the chaos.

I got a job for the summer, so thus, I didn’t get to relax 🙂

I’ve been on this track for a while now, so I’m getting used to it. I haven’t gotten a break and that’s okay. That’s life.

It’s time to accept the fact that many things are going to be going on, it’s my responsibility to balance it all.

Right now, I’m trying to juggle maintaining good grades, getting even better grades, a social life, relaxation time, finding a job, looking for new housing, etc.

There’s a lot going on right now and I feel like I’m back in senior year.

Life gets crazy at times but I guess that’s the beauty in it. Sometimes there’s beauty in chaos.

Learning to balance everything and not become overwhelmed and anxious is still something I’m working towards, everyday is a little step closer.
