How I Manifested My Dream Graduate School

You read that title right. I manifested my graduate school acceptance from Pepperdine University and I’m here to tell you how I did it.

Manifesting was always something I found interesting and wanted to dive into, but never had an opportunity to do it. The day I submitted my application for Pepperdine was the day I threw myself into manifestation for the first time ever. I watched so many Youtube videos on how to properly manifest, grabbed my journal and my crystals, and got started. Not even a week later, I received my acceptance email from the university. Here’s how I did it:

Disclaimer: I am only speaking of my own personal experience and my own personal faith. Take from this post whatever resinates with you and apply it to your own life and beliefs.

1. Act as if you already have what you desire

The first thing I did was journal about my acceptance as if it already happened. I would write things like “I am full of joy now that I have been accepted into Pepperdine University”. Statements starting with “I am” are so powerful and an important way to manifest what you want. You are telling the Universe what you desire as well as being confident in its eventual fruition.

2. Express gratitude

Write down things in your life that you are grateful for. It is best if you think of things that are related to what you want to attract. For example, I would state how grateful I am for my education up until this point. Then you can thank the universe for the thing that you desire as if you already have it. “Thank you Universe for giving me an opportunity to study at my dream school”.

3. Visualization

Another thing I would do was visualize the moment I found out that I got in. I would think of all of the different ways I may receive the news, whether through email, phone call, letter, etc. I would vividly imagine what I would be doing in the moment, me opening the letter, how I would feel, and what I would do after. What would the letter say? Would I run to tell my mom? Would I cry? How would I call my friends and family to share the news? These are all details I would include in my visualizations to make them as real as possible. I wrote down this visualization once in my journal, but other than that, I would just imagine it in my mind.

4. Positive Attitude

The days following my application submission, I made sure to maintain a positive attitude. I tried my best to be kind, express gratitude, and be in a happy mood. If you radiate positive energy, positive energy will be sent back to you.

5. Throw out negativity

At this point in my life, I am pretty confident in my abilities, so negative thoughts are not something that happens often. Of course, when you are trying to apply for something you may start to question whether you’re good enough or not. Whenever those self-doubt or negative thoughts pop into your mind, immediately throw them away and replace them with a positive affirmation. Remind yourself that we are capable of achieving whatever we want in life. I would journal one affirmation every morning that pertained to my qualities, abilities, and intelligence. I truly believed in myself and that I was a qualified applicant who would excel in this specific program.

6. Let go

I believe that the Universe wants the best for me. The Universe has my best intentions in mind and will lead me down a path that is meant for me. Everything happens for a reason. I also know myself, and that anything I set my mind to, I will achieve. My personal determination along with my faith in the Universe is so important in manifestation. You have to tell the Universe what you want, and then let it go. You have to trust that whatever happens is meant to happen. I wanted to be accepted into Pepperdine University, but if I did not get accepted, then I would understand that it was either not the right time or that a different school would be a better fit for me.

xoxo, Kimmy
